Anton Leanderson-Andréas, born in 1985 and raised in Avesta, has a comprehensive background in music and choristry. He started conducting his first choir when he was 18 years old, whilst undertaking his studies in music at Sjöviks folkhögskola where the vocal ensemble Vocado was formed. Vocado has received numerous prestigious awards (for example Choir of the Year 2011) and won many international competitions, as well as touring all over the world. From 2006-2011 he studied music theory, composition, education and choir conducting at Örebro university and since 2011 has taught vocal ensemble, choir, composition and music theory at folk highschools in Sjövik and Bollnäs. In addition to touring and teaching he is also a highly sought choir-conductor, workshop leader and composer. Antons vocal music is performed both nationally and abroad and it is represented by Gehrmans Musikförlag.
